At Sanford-Brown College - Cleveland programs can be completed in less time than you think. With a burgeoning job market and a cultural renaissance, Cleveland is suddenly one of the up-and-coming markets in the country. The city's commitment to big business keeps it on the national radar and brings plenty of job opportunities along with it.

Students at Sanford-Brown College - Cleveland can choose between a wide variety of programs such as advanced massage therapy. This field is primed to increase in popularity because so many on-the-job injuries are caused by ergonomically incorrect workstations. When workers sit in chairs that don't offer proper lumbar support, the spinal column can twist out of joint and become compressed. Massage therapy is one way of releasing the body's tension caused by less-than-optimal working conditions. Sanford-Brown College offers a diploma in Advanced Massage Therapy.

With approximately half a million residents, Cleveland is large enough to offer sophisticated entertainment and transportation options but it's still small enough to be eminently livable. Popular attractions include the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and one of the country's largest performing arts centers, the Playhouse Square Center. Sanford-Brown College - Cleveland is conveniently located in western Cleveland, between Parma Heights and North Olmsted.

ACCREDITATION/CERTIFICATION INFORMATION DISCLOSURE

Accreditation is a voluntary process which may be undertaken by schools to demonstrate compliance with specific standards designed to indicate a level of education quality. SBI is institutionally accredited (accredited in total) by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS), a national accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education (DOE) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). This indicates that SBI substantially meets or exceeds the stated criteria of education quality established by ACICS, and approved by the DOE and CHEA. This recognition of institutional accreditation by ACICS entitles SBI to offer Title IV Financial Assistance to students who qualify.

An additional form of accreditation that a school may undertake to obtain is a specific, individual accreditation of certain programs (programmatic accreditation). Institutional accreditation is not the same as or a substitution for programmatic accreditation. Although programmatic accreditation is not required for employment in many cases, the existence of programmatic accreditation is a further indication that a program meets the standards of the profession, and may therefore indirectly enhance employment opportunities. Also, in some cases, programmatic accreditation will allow the graduates of the accredited program to sit for some credentialing exams immediately upon graduation without any requirement of work experience.
